Mission of the Month – Scottish Bible Society

As a Church we support a different Mission organisation every month. Our Mission of the Month in January is the Scottish Bible Society.

I am always humbled by the stories of the big efforts that people are doing to get the Bible into people’s hands and minds and hearts. As an English speaker without any reading impairment, I have an indulgent amount of bible translations and resources to choose from. I take it for granted. A story like this one below is a good reminder for me to thank God for what he has already done, and to pray that even more might come to read the Bible for themselves.
